Creation Care
Creation Care
The Creation Care Team’s goal is to empower our congregation to be part of Lutherans Restoring Creation, an ELCA program that recognizes creation as a gift of God entrusted to our care. As a congregation, we seek to incorporate creation care into our worship life, educational programs, the maintenance of building and grounds, our personal discipleship at home and work, and in our public witness.

Solar power
Thanks to a generous donation in honor of one of our past beloved members, KRLC owns
3 of the 64 solar panels within the 20-kW solar array operated by Cooperative Light & Power
(along with its wholesale power supplier Great River Energy) at their headquarters in Two Harbors.
The solar array was energized on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014.
